I used this cleanser with a silicon scrubber, on my face. It has a light citrus fragrance that is not overpowering and doesn't linger on the skin. When rinsing, I could feel a layer over my skin that didn't want to rinse off - maybe this provides moisturizing? After drying, my skin was less dry than typical cleansers would leave it. I did still need to moisturize the driest areas, but my forehead and nose did not need moisturizer.
